Yesterday afternoon, we were in Riverside looking for a set of golf clubs for me. My FIL and my babes play golf every Wednesday and they were thinking of taking me with them when I feel like hitting some balls. I tried it several times before but I never really got into it. Lack of practice could be one reason why I lost interest. But I can swing my golf club pretty good. We played for a short time in Palm Spring with our friends but that was the end of it for me. I’d rather play tennis but then my Jeff’s interest is playing basketball and golf. Since I can’t play basketball, I decided to go for the latter. I think I can improve myself if I give it another chance and be good at it. We found a really nice set for $300 bucks but the price turned me off. My jaw dropped when I saw it. Blame me for being such a penny pincher. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t wanna pay high dollars on something that I can’t use everyday. Let alone some golf clubs. I’d be banging my head on the wall if it ends up sitting in the closet. Jeff insisted on getting it for me so I think he’s buying it. How can I argue with the guy whose intentions are good. He’s such a darling.
